Challenge: and progress in high power mems switches for reconfigurable RF front-ends

This paper reports the latest progress in developing advanced RF MEMS switches that are able to handle high RF power. Recent results of electromagnetic designs, electromechanical modelling, micro-machining fabrication and experiments are presented. Some challenging issues are addressed. © 2005 IEEE.
