Primary fibromyalgia is frequently seen in daily practice, and in recent years more attention has been given to this syndrome. Research has mostly been of a clinical character, but objective measurements, such as muscle strength measurements, have been introduced. This paper gives an overview of the published works that focus on muscle function in primary fibromyalgia.
